JAMIE CHADWICK SERIES – ROUND SIX

The sixth round of Jamie Chadwick Series 2026 came to Daytona Tamworth to take on the International layout. On the precipice of the the final third of the season, many of our drivers had a strong foothold within the championship standings, these concluding rounds proving vital in the making or breaking of their title runs.

Kicking off the days action were the Junior and Cadet classes, taking on the Heats format for the third time this season. In the Junior first Heat Daniella Mcintosh took the race victory by just eight tenths in front of championship leader Sarah Telford with Tilly Watson only a further few tenths back in third. It was a close battle for the win in the Cadets with Mahi Maru narrowly getting the better of Chloe Van Beneden by just under a second, Elouisa Flint managed to hold of the pack of three karts behind her to third place.

Back to the Juniors, Watson picked up the second Heat of the day by 1.8 seconds over Telford in second, Maya Nefzi finished narrowly behind Telford by three tenths with Iona Farquhar just six tenths back in fourth. In the Cadets, Maru yet again picked up the win but this time by a margin as she took the victory by five seconds in front of Van Beneden who yet again took second with Willow Wright picking up the final spot on the podium

The Junior Final saw an excellent defensive drive from Watson, starting from pole and holding off a host drivers in a defensive masterclass to take the race victory. Telford took yet another podium as she came home in second with Mcintosh in third and Nefzi narrowly missing out on the podium in fourth. Maru made it a clean sweep of wins in the Cadet Final, picking up the victory by five tenths over Van Beneden. Margins were close with Van Beneden finishing a mere tenth of a second in front of the third placed Wright with Flint not too far behind in fourth, picking up the fastest lap of the race to gain an extra point in consolation.

The Four-Stroke division saw Elli Henneman take pole position by a over a second from her nearest competitor in the Lightweight class. This comes just weeks after Henneman break the lap record on Daytona Tamworth’s International Layout in practice for this round. Nonetheless, the prestige of the class was demonstrated further by Clara Boyce, less experienced on the midlands track, followed only a further few hundredths in front of Jessika Mcintosh in third.

Clara Norris took pole in the Inters by a significant margin of six tenths, placing her as the second quickest driver overall in Qualifying, an almost unheard of feat for an Inter racing against a stacked grid of Lightweights. Rachael Mallard picked up second place with Lena Reading in third.

Henneman took the victory in the Shootout, matching her pace from Qualifying to pull away from the field, finishing 2.6 seconds in front of Boyce with Mcintosh just behind in third.

In parallel, Norris continued her earlier form, leading from lights to flag in the Inters and taking the win by 3 seconds over Mallard with Reading yet again in third.

In the Feature Race, Henneman put on an absolutely dominant performance. She took the win by 10 seconds over the rest of the field, picking up a clean sweep and her second-round win in the series. In turn closing the gap to Telford in the standings by 17 points. Yet again Boyce led Mcintosh home to secure the final two podium spots, the two drivers separated by just five tenths.

Clara Norris also made it a clean sweep, dominating the Feature Race to take the win, nine seconds ahead of Mallard. This critical victory extends her championship lead to 34 points. Brooke Millin picked up the final spot on the podium after a great defensive drive to take her first podium in the series.

Concluding the days action in the DMAX class, Milena Clark took pole positon by four tenths of a second over Julia Stankowiak with Reyhana Abdolrazagh picking up third place.

In the Shootout, Clark put on another dominant performance, taking victory over Stankowiak by over six seconds with Pheobe Hardy picking up the final podium spot just two seconds behind.

In the Feature, Clark yet again proved her dominance of the round, securing a clean sweep to pickup maximum points and closing the gap at the front end of the championship. Stankowiak yet again picked up second place with Hardy driving well to tale P3 and her first round podium.
