History

1990
Daytona was founded in December 1990 with the opening of the company’s first indoor circuit at Wood Lane, London – opposite the BBC Television Centre.
A second indoor circuit was opened in London in 1992. The company rapidly achieved recognition as the premier supplier of kart racing events in the UK.
In 1994, the circuits were joined to create the now legendary GP Circuit – the favourite circuit for racers, corporate event organisers and Hollywood A-listers – such as Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock.
1996-99
In 1996 the company opened Daytona Milton Keynes, a 1,360 metre outdoor circuit – which is widely recognised as the UK’s leading kart racing venue.
In 1999, Park Royal indoor circuit opens in London. The company is acquired by Brands Hatch.

2000-03
In 2000, Daytona Manchester Indoor Circuit opens at the Trafford Centre. In 2001, the company acquires Daytona Sandown Park and opens an indoor circuit at Silverstone.
In 2003, the company is reacquired by its original founders, and Daytona Milton Keynes expands to include the open of its famous Pavilion.
2008-15
Daytona Lydd opened in 2008, while Daytona Tamworth joined the Daytona family in 2015 following a major track redevelopment. The transformation created the International Circuit that drivers continue to race on today.

Present day
Daytona Motorsport owns and operates three circuits: Daytona Milton Keynes, Sandown Park and Tamworth.
The company has won multiple awards for racing and family entertainment and welcomes over 40,000 visitors every year.
Daytona has earned its reputation by combining grassroots motorsport development with championship racing, alongside corporate hospitality and leisure karting for all abilities.
