28 BRand-New Birel Art DMAX Racing Karts Unveiled
We are proud to introduce a brand-new fleet of 28 Birel ART DMAX racing karts at Daytona Sandown Park this September.
The new fleet continues our investment in bringing advanced racing machinery to the heart of grassroots motorsport. Italian racing pedigree, Rotax two-stroke power and expert preparation by Daytona’s technical team have come together to create a new generation of DMAX machinery, available to race now at our Surrey venue.
Their arrival marks another chapter in the DMAX story: a completely new fleet built to deliver the raw, responsive and unmistakable racing experience that has always defined the category.
The journey began at Birel ART’s factory in Lissone, near Monza, creating a direct connection between Italian motorsport engineering and the grid at Daytona Sandown Park. Birel ART’s technical and racing departments work closely together, combining manufacturing expertise with knowledge gained through competition.
Each DMAX pairs a race-bred Birel ART chassis with a 125cc Rotax two-stroke engine. The result is serious racing machinery without the commitment and expense of owning and maintaining a kart. That accessibility is central to Daytona, giving aspiring racers and committed petrolheads alike the opportunity to experience high-performance machinery.
For drivers, the appeal is immediate: the distinctive sound of a two-stroke engine, the urgency of the acceleration and the precision demanded behind the wheel. This is karting that rewards concentration, commitment and racecraft.
Arrival from Italy was only one stage of the fleet’s journey. Before taking their place on the circuit, all 28 karts were prepared and rigorously tested in Daytona’s workshop by our experienced technical team. Their work brings together the quality of the Birel ART machinery and the knowledge of the people who understand DMAX racing best.
That workshop attention is an essential part of the story. Behind every kart on the grid is a team whose work begins long before a driver pulls on a helmet. Each kart has been fine-tuned for the demands of racing at Daytona Sandown Park, with extensive testing and technical development completed before its public debut.

Daytona Sandown Park’s 900-metre Grand Prix circuit provides the setting. Its eight corners and two high-speed straights demand precision and commitment, creating a circuit where braking points matter, clean exits count and every lap offers another opportunity to refine your technique.
Whether you already know the intensity of DMAX or are preparing for your first experience of two-stroke karting, the new fleet is ready. DMAX sessions are available to drivers aged 16 and over, with practice sessions and tuition for those new to the machinery, alongside demanding race formats for experienced competitors.
