SuperChamps, Final

Daytona Milton Keynes

In the Lightweight class, it was Lewis Bowey who stole the spotlight, coming up from 8th on the grid to take the first race win of the day. Aston Tempany-McColm pushed hard all race long but ultimately crossed the line just one second behind Bowey in second. Nathaniel Stebbings recovered well from the early chaos to secure third place and the final podium spot for the Lights. The Heavyweight field produced an intense battle at the front, with Ash Chivers, Barry Morris, Adam Pughe and Charlie Fenton all fighting for podium contention. In the end, Chivers broke clear to take victory by over six seconds from Pughe in second. The fight for third went right to the line, with Charlie Fenton edging out Morris by less than three-tenths of a second. The opening DMAX Lightweight race saw Jacob Csepreghi, claim victory by more than 4.5 seconds over Luke Power. Third place went to Dawid Sniezko, who finished just one-tenth of a second behind Power after a close late-race battle. In the DMAX Heavyweight class, championship contenders Josh Hamilton and Dylan Penfold battled it out. Hamilton struck first, taking the win and finishing a full lap ahead of Penfold to kick off his championship challenge.

Bowey continued his strong form in SODI Heat Two, once again taking victory in the Lightweight field after a tight three-way fight with Fleming and Tempany-McColm. Bowey crossed the line just over 1.5 seconds clear of Fleming, while Tempany-McColm followed closely in third, only half a second behind second place. In the Heavyweight race, Barry Morris bounced back to take a convincing win by over five seconds from Adam Pughe. Kevin Mulgrew completed the podium, finishing just under three seconds behind Pughe. In the second DMAX Heat, Freddie Jenkins claimed victory in the Lightweight class, narrowly defeating Csepreghi by just under eight-tenths of a second. Sniezko once again showed consistency, securing third place after another close contest with Power, finishing nine-tenths ahead at the line. The Heavyweight DMAX race swung the championship momentum as Dylan Penfold took a dominant win over Hamilton by over seven seconds, tightening the title fight for the top championship places heading into the Final.

Now in the SODI Lightweight Final, Bowey and Fleming locked together at the front. Bowey completed a clean sweep of victories for the round, taking the win by just three-tenths of a second. Four seconds back, Aston Tempany-McColm and Benjamin Barath fought for third, with Barath claiming the final podium spot by eight-tenths. In the Heavyweight Final, Ash Chivers capped off an excellent round with another victory, finishing over one second ahead of Adam Pughe in second. William O’Toole rounded out the podium, crossing the line a further four seconds behind the leading pair. The DMAX Lightweight Final saw Dawid Sniezko take victory by over 1.5 seconds from Jacob Csepreghi, while Joseph Simcock completed the podium, finishing more than 10 seconds behind the top two. In the DMAX Heavyweight Final, Penfold delivered when it mattered most, taking his second win of the day over Hamilton by just over 1.5 seconds. That result sealed the championship outcome, denying Hamilton the title and leaving him to settle for second overall to Ashley Mayston-King as SuperChamps Season Two came to a thrilling conclusion.

InKart, Final

Daytona Sandown Park

In a dramatic Final Round of the InKart series at Daytona Sandown Park, we saw strong battles across the field. The Cadet class entered the day with little separating the standings and plenty to prove on track. The first race was won by Ethan Davies, who followed up that success with another victory in the third race. Frank Mehlberg mirrored this performance in the adjoining races, taking two strong wins of his own. Meanwhile, Jack Dodgson secured P2 and P3, racing alongside Mehlberg right to the very end. Competition was fierce heading into the day’s final race, one that would conclude a hard-fought championship. Mehlberg continued his impeccable form from the previous races, delivering a near-perfect round, missing out only on the fastest lap bonus point. This first win of the season was richly deserved after showing impressive consistency and improvement throughout the year. P2 went the way of championship leader Hadi Chaudry, who was unlucky to miss out on the round podium by just one point. That honour went to Jack Dodgson and Ethan Davies, standing alongside Mehlberg to conclude an incredible final race day.

In the Junior class, Sarah Telford came out of the gates strongly with a win in the opening race. Jack Candasamany followed closely, picking up another P2 in his subsequent outing. In between, Aleksander Kozuch took victory, marking a hugely impressive return after missing several rounds following strong performances earlier in the season. Heading into the final race of the day, the podium positions were held by the championship leaders, with Daniel Marutyak, Sarah Telford, and Daniel Harman securing the top three respectively. The series finale saw the front pack begin to stretch a small gap to the rest of the field, though not without pressure from the likes of Rafael Beattie-McKerrow and Aleksander Kozuch.

It marked a strong conclusion to an excellent season, with returning drivers reinforcing their place at the front and newcomers growing in race craft and confidence, challenging the series veterans throughout.

Daytona Sandown Park’s Season Review

The Cadet championship delivered a compelling battle throughout the season, defined by consistency at the front and relentless pressure from a tightly packed field. Hadi Chaudry, Lucio Vaval, and Ethan Davies emerged as the standout contenders, regularly rotating podium positions and setting the benchmark for the class. Chaudry asserted himself early with a perfect score in Round One and, despite a brief mid-season dip, returned strongly in the latter rounds to secure the championship title. Vaval’s two round victories kept him firmly in contention, ultimately earning him second overall, while Davies’ speed and consistency saw him complete the podium in third. With multiple race winners and narrow margins throughout, the Cadet title fight remained alive until the final round, a testament to the depth of talent in the field.

The Junior category proved equally gripping, characterised by volatility at the front and a season-long rivalry that drove standards ever higher. Daniel Marutyak and Daniel Harman traded positions throughout the year, with neither able to establish a decisive advantage. Marutyak entered the final round leading the standings and delivered when it mattered most, claiming the championship ahead of Harman in second. Behind them, Sarah Telford produced a strong and consistent campaign to secure third overall, while standout performances, including Milan Pilay’s flawless round victory, ensured the championship narrative remained unpredictable. With sustained pressure across the field and fine margins separating the frontrunners, the Junior title was settled only when the final chequered flag fell.

Together, the Cadet and Junior championships showcased the intensity, quality, and progression that define the InKart series, setting the stage for another exciting season ahead.

And the winners are…

Daytona Tamworth

The Cup format greeted our drivers for the Finale of the 2025 season Two InKart championship at Daytona Tamworth. After two very close Qualifying sessions in the Cadet class, seven unlucky drivers had to battle it out in the twenty-five-minute B-Final to try and gain promotion into the A-Final. A dominant performance by relative newcomer to the series, Harry Walsh took spectators by surprise. In just his second round, Walsh built an impressive forty second gap to take victory and earn himself promotion. The battle behind him wasn’t necessarily close either, with Nathan Grech finishing second, ahead of fastest lap driver, Greyson Scrandrett in third. In the A-Final, assured champion, Freya Lally collected yet another victory and secured her second title in succession with a dominant drive, ahead of second by fifty seconds. Lally is moving on to championships away from Daytona Tamworth next season, and so we wish her the best of luck in future endeavours.  In second was Jack Mills, finishing just two seconds ahead of Adam Azeem who rounded out the podium. In the Juniors, Zachary Smith kept his cool in a wet Qualifying session to take pole position, making his already comfortable championship position that little bit more comfortable. Reuben Potter joined him on the front row, two seconds back. In the Final, there were no surprises as far as race victory was concerned. Smith taking it by thirty seconds and taking victory in the championship as well. The battle for second wasn’t particularly hotly contested, as former champion Reuben Potter drove superbly to secure second. We had a new face on the podium, someone who has not stood on the A-Final podium yet this year – Rhys Kings. He kept his cool to finish one second ahead of Sebastian Hill, an incredible performance from Kings and a relief after a string of performances where he narrowly missed out.

Daytona Tamworth’s Season Review

Both championships were won by drivers who were certainly the class of the field. In the Cadets, Freya Lally was unstoppable. Finishing no lower than second throughout the entirety of the championship. This allowed her to head into the Final Round virtually unchallenged. This doesn’t mean we didn’t see the emergence of new faces this season, as the second and third place finishers are both on the championship podium for the first time. They come in the form of Hugo MacMillan and Jack Mills, both with absolute standout performances throughout the season. Yet they weren’t the only drivers of note throughout the season. We also saw podium finishes from the like of Cristiano Guedes, Logan Staunton, and Adam Azeem, all drivers who we would expect to see right at the sharp end as we head into the next season. In the Junior class, Zachary Smith made a grand return to the series and won all but one round, finishing second in Round Seven. Remarkably, he only dropped two points in the first Six Rounds of the season and was only eight points away from a perfect season all around – a record we will likely never see beaten. It had to take someone as special as Smith to beat the imperious reigning champion Reuben Potter, who had to settle for second in what would have been a remarkable season within itself had it not been for Smith’s dominance. Jayden Stetham continued his trend of being at the sharp end of the InKart championship in third, unlucky to not have placed higher. Again, a contender we expect to see returning to grace the upper level of the podium next season.

And the winners are…
