Daytona Motorsport has unveiled a brand-new Fleet of Birel ART N32-XR junior karts, bringing the latest generation of junior kart racing technology to the Midlands’ most popular outdoor circuit.
Manufactured by renowned Italian kart producer, Birel ART and powered by the Honda GX200 engine, the new N32-XR karts represent a significant step forward in driver experience. Running on Mitas tyres and featuring a race-inspired chassis design, these best-in-class junior karts are already proving capable of lap times up to 2–3 seconds faster than the previous generation.
For perfect balance and the ultimate performance, Daytona’s engineering department have opted for two different tyre compounds – a Mitas SRX front tyre, and Mitas SRH rear tyre.
The arrival of the N32-XR marks a new era for junior karting at Daytona Tamworth, replacing both the previous Cadet and Junior kart fleets with a single, modern platform designed to deliver greater performance and consistency for drivers of all experience levels.
Among the first to experience the new karts was former Daytona Tamworth InKart driver Reuben Potter, who was impressed by the improvements:
“The new N32 kart looks awesome. I really like the design, and as soon as you get in it you can feel how responsive it is. The steering feels precise, it’s easy to drive, and it gives you a lot of confidence through the corners. Overall, it’s a really fun kart to race and a big step forward in driveability.”
Drivers can experience the new Birel ART N32-XR karts across a range of sessions at Daytona Tamworth, including Junior Practices on the Indy Circuit, Full Circuit Practices on the International Circuit, and in our famous InKart championship.
With faster lap times, improved driveability, and cutting-edge kart technology direct from Italy, there’s never been a better time for young racers to get on track and experience the future of junior karting at Daytona Tamworth.
