Jnr did the 1 day cadet race school and had a great day. Well organised and ran with knowledgable and enthusiastic staff, Jnr managed to improve by 27s a lap from the start to end of the day. Good track and good facilities.

I did a 6hr endurance race and even though the race didn’t go our way, the staff were amazing! Gave us a full briefing on pit stops with a cool demonstration, any questions you asked the great friendly staff they’d answer in full detail.

This place is great for spectators too! A lovely restaurant vibe downstairs then a nice place to chill out upstairs if you wish.

I’d like to mention staff names but there’s so many great members of staff, I can’t list them all! Love this place and can’t wait to do the 24hr there this weekend

Daytona Milton Keynes has become my happy place after falling in love with karting a few years ago. The venue is just simply unmatched on every level. The karts, particularly the DMAX are amazing to drive!

The staff are all lovely very knowledgeable and friendly. Always on hand if needed. Front of house staff always greet with a smile and the tuitions on offer to improve your lap time are gold!

Over the last few years I’ve competed in many Daytona endurance races, championships and weekend sprint races and when it come to karting Daytona is like no other.

Had a group race with friends which was great! The outdoors racing track is professional level with 1350m makes takes the whole experience to a new level!

James was super good gave us his full attention and make sure we had fun

Also the young lad called Ethan (I think) was very friendly at the reception

We truly enjoyed our session and will be back again!

Brilliant. My son & his mate loved it and even I enjoyed it as a spectator – we all are considering a return in the near future. There are 2 courses. A mini and a large. You can/should do a 10 min practice followed by the 20/40min race. A newcomer should really do 20 mins to ensure they enjoy & adapt to this format. At time of writing, £89 per person for the Daytona SODI Sprint Race. After the experience this is tremendous value. Talk about adrenaline. Stewarding is well run. And full racing regulations apply. Saw a few people get black flagged. Ignore yellow flags at your peril. Prizes afterwards for the podium places. Good food choices and toilets close by.

My son had his birthday party here over the weekend, and it was absolutely amazing! 🤩👏
All the staff were so kind and helpful, specially the hostess that was assigned to our group, nothing was ever too much trouble. From booking the venue to handling all my follow-up questions and requests, everything was handled perfectly. My son and his friends left happy, exhausted, and full of wonderful memories. 💚🎉

Today I had a 2hr DMAX tuition with Archie. Everything I wanted to extract from the session, we managed. Along with Archie’s guidance, I was able to improve on the final details in my game through consistency, dealing with pressure and trying to execute the perfect lap.

Archie’s analysis is top tier. He provided me with great technical feedback in between sessions to learn from. It’s now my responsibility to act as sponge, absorb that information and put it into practice.

I’d highly recommend a tuition to anyone looking to aid their game, or even an introduction into karting (including all levels of experience and ability). It’s something that was beneficial for me and a long time in the making. The track walk in particular offered a valuable insight. I’d happily do this again.

My daughter recently had go-kart tuition with Archie, and I couldn’t be more impressed with his professionalism and clear teaching style. From the moment they started, Archie made my daughter feel completely at ease. He was incredibly patient and explained everything in a way that was not only easy for her to understand but also kept her fully engaged.

He broke down complex techniques into simple, manageable steps, using language that resonated with her. It was clear he has a real knack for working with young people, striking the perfect balance between being instructive and encouraging. My daughter came away from the session not just with improved go-karting skills, but also with a significant boost in confidence.

Archie’s approach made the entire tuition a genuinely enjoyable and highly productive experience. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for go-karting instruction, especially for younger learners.

The bambino induction program is really well organised – with a maximum of 5 children and up to 4 instructors per program, you practically get one on one teaching for your children. The site is great, really well kitted out with multiple types of karts, a track just for kids, a cafe and events that match everyone’s needs. Our instructor Stan and his team were fantastic with the little one – really patient and kind. They do not shy away from failing children that aren’t safe enough to drive on their own, which is fantastic as it shows they care about your child’s safety! We look forward to booking more

Had an amazing experience in Daytona Milton Keynes for a corporate team day out. We spent the all day doing a workshop and racing in the afternoon. The team loved it and the staff at the circuit made the whole day special. Thank you for having us and looking after us so well.

This was my first visit to Daytona and it was fantastic. The staff were very friendly on arrival and checked us all in. Once we were suited up we watched the safety video on all the do’s and don’ts of the track and the go karts. We then got our helmets on and went out to the track and to the karts. The staff on the track were excellent and any spin offs were straight on it to slow everyone down and make sure the drivers are ok, luckily we didn’t have to many. There were 10 in our group which was perfect. We did an evening session with the flood lights and the weather was dry too. I would recommend this to anyone. This was a great experience and I will be back.

The international circuit is huge and fast! The north circuit is a really good place to start the kids in the sport. I first came here 8 years ago for work team building event and my son started his bambino training module 2 years ago, moving up to cadet today. The staff are super friendly and professional. Last of all, the burgers are REALLY good!

Having known about this place for most of my life, I finally decided to visit and try a session on the track. I did the 30-minute SODI kart session and, although it was absolutely pouring with rain, it actually added to the fun and made the experience even more memorable.

The staff were incredibly organised and efficient throughout. Everyone was kind, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I left feeling like I’d definitely had my money’s worth.

A few weeks later, I returned under very different circumstances. A friend suggested stopping by for lunch as we were in the area, and I’ll admit I’d never considered this place as a food spot. I was genuinely blown away by the quality of the food.

We celebrated my son’s 11th birthday party at Daytona today with his friends. We had a fantastic time and the staff there are wonderful. A special mention to Holly, who was our birthday host and went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday party amazing. Well done, Daytona!

Took my son and some friends for his 10th birthday. Both the practice day we did last week and his birthday today, I was so grateful for such attentive and kind staff at Daytona MK. My son so desperately wanted to do this, but had his confidence knocked on the first lap with a bump and a shunt from a more experienced driver. The Marshall on the track was amazing. Such care and a friendly pep talks had him well on his way again for a few more goes.

Today, the big double digits day, he was nervous again having had a flash back, and again the Marshall was so kind, referring to him as ‘buddy’ whilst allowing him some pit stop breaks. He and his other first-timer pals had a great day.

Special shout out to Holly. Who not only remembered me from last week and checked in that I’d requested a reserved table for later birthday celebrations, but was brilliant at keeping me informed, with a warm smile, and checking the table has been reserved.

To top it off, she delivered a hand written card and sang happy birthday – and I’d not even booked an ‘official’ birthday package.

Thank you SO much for helping make double digits day so special.

The Daytona experience from first enquiry to the conclusion of our event was excellent.

The sales team were knowledgeable and efficient providing clear and detailed comms ahead of our arrival.

We received a warm welcome on site and we were dealt with efficiently. All my guests enjoyed the racing and were surprised by the excellent food.

We’ll be back!

My son had his 9th birthday party at Daytona Milton Keynes yesterday, and Holly was absolutely fantastic. We arrived late due to traffic, but she went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t miss our slot, which we really appreciated.
She was brilliant with the boys, incredibly helpful, and took the time to learn all their names, making everyone feel included. One of the boys came last in the race and was getting a bit of teasing, but Holly handled it so thoughtfully – getting him involved in the presentation afterwards so he didn’t feel left out.
She truly made the racing party extra special. Thank you, Holly!

Went to Daytona Milton Keynes for my son’s birthday. He does a lot of karting but has never driven the DMAX kart. He came off track with the biggest smile. That to me says it all. The girl in reception was so friendly, the drivers briefing was easy to understand and the karts and track was great. Overall a brilliant experience.

Great place to visit with excellent staff to explain the finer details of the driving experience. Safety and dress code when driving are relayed to the driver before taking the wheel.

Everything was full explained and discussed in a pre drive briefing. My grandson had the time of his life and was thrilled to take part in the drive around the racetrack.

He was so enthused afterwards that he would have another go at the drop of a hat! Keep up the good work.

FAQs

How do I get to Daytona Milton Keynes?

Address: H4 Dansteed Way, Rooksley, Milton Keynes, MK13 8NP

By car:
Conveniently located close to the M1 and A5, with easy access from Junction 14 of the M1. Follow signs for Central Milton Keynes and Rooksley.

By train:
The nearest station is Milton Keynes Central. The venue is approximately a 10-minute taxi ride away.

I'd like to drive in a DMAX, how experienced do I need to be?

DMAXs are for drivers who are experienced in karting. We recommend that you’ve driven at your chosen Daytona track in at least one 4-stroke Practice Session/ Open Race to get a feel for the track before driving a DMAX.  The starting point in a DMAX kart would be a practice session – 20 minutes of uncompetitive track time to understand how it handles.

I've never gone karting before, where should I start?

We recommend starting with practice sessions – 20 minutes of track time in a non-competitive format. For adults, this should be in our 4-stroke SODI or N35-ST karts, not our DMAXs. For kids aged 8-13, a Junior Practice is a great starting point. Race School is recommended for young people who want to progress in the sport and race competitively on the adult circuit.

Can I bring my own kart?

We do not run any owner-driver events at Daytona. If you wanted to bring your own kart and drive it round one of our tracks you would have to hire the track exclusively to do so.

Can I just turn up and race?

No – all sessions must be booked in advance. You can book online or call us on 033 033 278 70 when our sales office is open.

Are there car-parking facilities?

All of our circuits are equipped with large, free carparks. Please note, Daytona are not responsible for any vehicle in our carparks. Please do not leave valuables unattended in your vehicles.

Is there a restaurant or bar?

All Daytona venues have restaurants on-site, serving hot food and can cater for large parties. All venues also serve barista coffee, cold drinks, snacks and slushies. We do not have a bar or allow alcohol to be consumed on site.

What are your opening hours?

Our circuits are open at different times depending on the day and season. As a general rule of thumb, we’re open all day on weekends and two or three weekday evenings. To see race scheduling you would need to look on the booking system on our website. You cannot go to a race without pre-booking it – we do not accept drivers who turn up without booking.

Our sales office is open 9am-6pm Monday-Friday, and 9am-5pm on a Saturday.

What should I wear go-karting?

We can provide gloves, a race suit, helmet and a wet suit if required. Please wear trainers or similar – when the track is wet they might get muddy so we advise not wearing new shoes. You should wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the season – our race suits are insulating so you won’t need a jacket in the winter, nor a jumper in the summer. You must not wear a hoodie, scarf, or any loose headwear, as this is a safety hazard. You’ll also be required to wear a balaclava if you’re borrowing one of our helmets. These can be purchased from reception.

Are there any age or height restrictions at Daytona?

  • Bambino drivers must be at least 6 years old and 107cm tall (3 ft 5 inches).
  • Cadets/ Juniors must be at least 8 years old and 125cm tall (4 ft 1 inch).
  • To race in a SODI, you must be at least 14 years old* and 142cm tall (4 ft 8 inches)
  • To race in a DMAX, you must be at least 16 years old** and 142cm tall, and have sufficient karting experience to do so.

Children attending the venue must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult at all times.

*Experienced 12-13 year olds can undertake an assessment to drive in SODI karts, as long as they’re tall enough.
**Experienced 14-15 year olds can undertake an assessment to drive in DMAX karts.
