Open Race Booking Conditions
All bookings will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Full payment is required at the time of booking to guarantee spaces.
- Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable except in the case of force majeure where Daytona Motorsport will provide an alternative date where possible.
- Individuals that arrive late will not be permitted to participate. No shows and late arrivals are not entitled to a refund or transferal of their session.
- If you continue to drive beyond your allotted time after the chequered flag, we reserve the right to charge a supplementary track time fee, plus any other costs we may incur.
- Daytona Motorsport reserves the right to refuse admission or to cease providing racing to any person.
- Any person who threatens or assaults any member of Daytona’s staff or any other customers will be reported to the Police.
- Any person who damages any of Daytona’s or our customers’ property through inappropriate behaviour will be held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement of the damaged property.
- Daytona reserves the right to request proof of ID.
- Daytona Motorsport reserves the right to request proof of a drivers Kart racing experience.
- If an event is cancelled due to reasons outside Daytona’s control FULL RACE FEES will be payable. Whilst Daytona cannot be held responsible for such cancellations, we will endeavour to re-arrange the event on a mutually convenient date.
- Races may be paused or stopped at any time for safety or operational reasons. In such cases, remaining race time may be forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Only food and drink supplied by Daytona Motorsport may be consumed at Daytona venues.
- Attendees must not consume alcohol or controlled substances prior to attending or participating.
- Drivers must be 14 years of age or over for a SODI/ N35-ST kart event.
- Drivers must be 16 years of age or over for a DMAX event and have experience in driving high performance go-karts outdoors. We will consider allowing experienced drivers aged 14 and over to compete in DMAX events, subject to prior approval.
- Drivers who are disproportionally slow in relation to the remainder of the field will be removed from the track for safety reasons.
- Drivers must be 8 years to 15 years of age for a Junior event.
- Drivers must be 6 years to 7 years of age for a Bambino event and to have passed a Daytona Bambino Induction in order to participate in Bambino Practice events.
- Suitable footwear such as trainers must be worn. If not sure, ask us. High heels or open toed footwear is not permitted.
- No hooded garments or scarves are permitted. This also includes hijabs, turbans and other religious headwear. We will provide balaclavas (at a cost) and a private space for changing.
- It is mandatory that drivers wear a balaclava when racing at Daytona. You may provide your own, or you can purchase from Daytona either at the point of booking or at reception on arrival.
- Visitors to any of our locations are not permitted to bring dogs or any other pets on the premises. Guide dogs are excepted to this rule.
- All participants must be able to understand English, otherwise alternative arrangements must be made for safety briefings.
- If a participant is colour blind, they must notify Daytona in plenty of notice.
Exclusive Booking Conditions
Exclusive Bookings will be subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Booking constitutes a contract between you and Daytona Motorsport and booking confirms your agreement to abide by Daytona Motorsport Terms and Conditions.
- Signing & returning the booking form constitutes a contract between you/your organisation & Daytona Motorsport.
- You agree to pay all fees on demand and or as they become due. In the event that you fail to pay on time you agree to Daytona charging judgement interest (currently 8% pa on any outstanding sums. Bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable unless you have opted in to Daytona’s flexible booking programme.
- In the event that force majeure causes cancellation of an event Daytona Motorsport will reschedule the event at a mutually convenient time. If a mutually convenient time cannot be found the event fees are forfeited.
- In the event that attendees arrive late you accept that your event may be shortened. you also accept that you are buying a time slot and race duration is not guaranteed.
- Any drivers attending too late to undergo the race briefing may not participate.
- If you continue to drive beyond your allotted time after the chequered flag, we reserve the right to charge a supplementary track time fee, plus any other costs we may incur.
- In the event of non-payment or failure to return the booking form, Daytona may, at its own discretion, cancel an event.
- Any increases in driver numbers or additional items notified to Daytona will be contractually binding.
- The greater of minimum billing or teams / drivers booked is payable even if fewer drivers actually compete.
- If you sign the booking form on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are empowered to do so.
- Daytona reserves the right to refuse admission or to cease providing racing to any person.
- Only food or drinks supplied by Daytona may be consumed at our venues.at the event.
- Attendees must not consume alcohol or controlled substances before attending our venues. If attendees are suspected of the above they will not be allowed to race an no refunds will be due.
- Antisocial or aggressive behaviour will not be accepted and any person threatening or assaulting any member of Daytona’s staff or any other customers will be reported to the Police.
- Any person who damages any of Daytona’s or our customers’ property through inappropriate behaviour will be held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement of the damaged property.
These conditions apply to any and all optional exceptions.
