About the experience

Our children’s party packages are designed for 6 or 12 drivers and include 20 minutes of track time on our 400m North Circuit, followed by a post race medal presentation on our podium, and a Pizza Platter which includes pizzas, chips, and ice cream or slushies. With a minimum age of 8 years and no maximum age, parents and older siblings can join in on the fast fun, so no one misses out.

You can also hire our 900m National Circuit for older children with more go-karting experience.

Once the drivers have registered and signed in they are given a thorough explanation of track safety and flags, and kart control. Each driver is then issued their race suit, helmet and gloves and taken to the pit lane, where they receive an individual briefing on the kart controls. After a final safety check in which the children must demonstrate their understanding and ability to operate the karts, they are then out onto the track to enjoy their exclusive session.

We provide safety equipment, a comprehensive safety briefing and all laps are timed with results emailed to drivers (that opt in) at the end of the session.

Optional extras (at additional cost) include helmet video camera hire and the option to purchase trophies.

“From the first inquiry to the booking to the event day, it was all smooth and very professionally handled from the sales professional having to deal with my ever changing dates and times.

On the day, the kids loved getting the uniform to the pre-briefing session it built the excitement in them. The race was handled well by the marshals with some of the kids believing they were Lewis or Max. It was only 20 mins but the time does not fly by, and the kids were really exhausted afterwards. Up to the first floor for the party food and slushies for the kids, I have to admit but the big bowl of chips confused a few kids believing it was individual portions. The chips and pizza disappeared, and the adults agreed that the food was quality. A big thank you to the staff member helped served and tidy up and had everything ready before I asked, matches, here you go, knife to cut the cake, here you go, napkins for people to take the cake away, here you go.

Overall really good day as the stress of arranging a birthday party was taken away by the staff at Daytona.”
