Following a week long qualifying in late July, Daytona Motorsport’s UK racing venues hosted the Summer Hot Laps Shootouts last night (Monday 6th August) and crowned the Summer Hot Laps 2018 Champions.
Seven different Shootouts took place at the Uk’s premier kart racing circuits, with each of the outdoor circuits running separate Summer Hot Laps Shootouts for DMAX and Sodi RT8 classes – whilst Manchester hosted a single Shootout for the fastest 14 drivers in the North West’s Sodi RT8 karts.
Every circuit saw close racing over the 20 minute sprint races but each Shootout saw one winner – who took home a £250 Racing Voucher!
