The people of Ukraine are in need of aid now just as much as they were two years ago when Putin's invasion began. As media attention shifts elsewhere and western leaders reduce their funding, institutions like hospitals, schools, orphanages, community shelters and food banks rely on donations from charitable institutions such as Siobhan's Trust or Ukraine Sunflower Aid more than ever.
Daytona are commited to our ongoing support of Ukraine. Last June we raised over £11,000 for Siobhan's Trust at our inaugural Race for Ukraine and that money was used to provide aid directly to people on the front line. Our CEO Charles Graham has also completed two aid deliveries to the front line.
To keep this momentum going, we're pleased to announce that we'll be hosting a second Race for Ukraine this year, on Friday 7th June, at 14:00 at our stunning Daytona Milton Keynes venue, to raise funds for Siobhan's Trust.
Come together with our community and round up a team of 2-6 drivers aged 14+ for a 2 hour endurance race in our SODI karts. In the same theme as last year's race, there will be an exciting auction with prizes money can't buy. Last year we sold hospitality tickets to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, an exclusive tour of Prodrive's facility, and meet and greet tickets at a Sam Ryder concert, as well as many other unique prizes.
