JUNIOR INKART
Season 2 of the Junior InKart Championship will start on Saturday 7th May 2022 at Daytona Sandown Park. The championship will consist of 7 rounds and 6 rounds will count towards each driver’s Championship total. The format for each round will remain unchanged from Season 1.
FORMAT
The format will consist of:
- 10-minute practice (which doesn’t count towards qualifying)
- 2 x 10-minute heats (we will be implementing a fair gridding system)
- 12-minute Final heats (the grids will be based upon points scored in the qualifying heats)
Points will be awarded for the Championship based on the Final Heat positions.

Round 1 – Saturday 7th May (16:00 Arrival Time *evening race*)
Round 2 – Saturday 28th May (09:15 Arrival Time)
Round 3 – Saturday 18th June (09:15 Arrival Time)
Round 4 – Saturday 9th July (09:15 Arrival Time)
Round 5 – Saturday 13th August (09:15 Arrival Time)
Round 6 – Saturday 3rd September (09:15 Arrival Time)
Round 7 – Saturday 24th September (09:15 Arrival Time)
PRACTICE
A single 20 minute practice session will be available before each round to get familiar with the circuit and the conditions on the day. The practice session can be booked for £38.50.
PRICE
The cost of each round is £100.00 and there is a discount (£35.00) for booking the whole season at one time.
A £50.00 InKart annual membership is required which grants you access to the Championship and a 10% discount on any Junior Open Events
