Adam Nakar

Category: Endurance Heavies

Age: 40
Location: Surbiton, Surrey

Adam Nakar has been a fixture in corporate karting for twenty-five years, winning the Daytona InKart Heavyweight championship in 2007 and securing multiple Club100 and DMAX podiums, including third in the DMAX Heavyweight Enduro (2016) and a Silverstone podium in EnduroKa.

With an InKart Junior Licence from 1999-2000, he has raced everything from indoor single-engine karts to superkart tests. In 2023, he earned his ARDS license and has since competed in EnduroKa races.

 

 

Alex Pritchard

Age: 39
Location: Cheshire

Pritchard has been a force in karting since 2007, racking up hundreds of race wins and earning a reputation as a wet-weather specialist. In 2018, he claimed victory in the original DMAX Champs Series. Beyond the track, he's a passionate supercar enthusiast, having owned an impressive collection that included Aston Martins, Ferraris, and McLarens to name a few.

 

 

Alex Tucker

Category: Endurance Heavies

Age: 28
Location: Sevenoaks, Kent

Tucker started his karting journey at 8 years old at Buckmore Park in Cadets, moving up to Seniors at 14. His first visit to Daytona Motorsport was back in 2012, racing in a D40. Before that he raced with Oxford University Motor Drivers Club between 2016-2020, while attending the British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC). Beyond the track Tucker is a multilingual speaker and plays four musical instruments. He's also got an Organ Diploma and performed at the Royal Albert Hall at the Proms.

Anthony Wypych

Age: 17
Location: Birmingham

Wypych started karting at the age of six at Ace Karting in Walsall, later making TeamSport Birmingham his indoor home track, participating in members nights. Wypych sought to take his racing to the next level, venturing into outdoor karting and competing in the SODI World Series and DMAX-GT SuperChamps at Daytona Tamworth. He also attended his first international race in Poland's PIKC (KWC Series) and is now a 4x National Finalist.

Ashley Mayston-King

Category: Heats Heavies, Endurance Heavies

Age: 33
Location: Milton Keynes

A dominant force at Daytona Milton Keynes- in 2024, he secured the Daytona Milton Keynes DMAX SuperChamps Heavyweight championship.

His endurance racing achievements include three victories in 3-hour endurance races and two titles in 6-hour endurance events. In Autumn 2024, he added another milestone to his career by claiming the prestigious 24-hour endurance championship as part of King Brothers Racing.

Bradley Philpot

Age: 39
Location: Bedford

Bradley Philpot has had a storied career in Motorsport, earning titles such as Red Bull Kart Fight national champion, 2x SP2T Class VLN Nüburgring Champion and Buckmore Park Race of Champions winner. While also being a familiar face online, Philpot has amassed a large following of loyal racing fans. However, only time will tell if this immense experience can translate into influence on track come race day.

Charlie Foster

Category: Heats Lights

Age: 16
Location: Epsom, Surrey

Foster's karting journey began at TeamSport Crawley in October 2022, before stepping up to outdoor racing in April 2023. He's currently competing in Thursday Night League and SuperChamps 2025 at Daytona Sandown Park where he took victory in the round one final. Alongside this, he's racing as a Club100 Junior Lightweight driver for the 2024/20205 season, pushing his limits and chasing success, in preparation for the DMAX National Championships.

Dom Balasaitis

Age: 16
Location: Berkshire

Dom will be a firm favourite going into this championship. He's the reigning Daytona Champion of Champions, after winning the 2024 final in dramatic style. He's also a SuperChamps champion at Daytona Milton Keynes, having won 22x championship round throughout that time, and was in the top five of the Club 100's Super Lightweights.

Ellis McKenzie

Age: 14
Location: Ruislip

Ellis McKenzie is an up-and-coming star at Daytona Sandown Park, he's the current SODI lap record holder, and won SODI SuperChamps, Junior InKart and Junior Sprint League all in 2024. Very impressive, since he only started competitive racing in 2023!

The Faceless Driver

The Faceless Driver continues to baffle the Motorsport world, both in their identity and obvious skill. After a mystery appearance dominating Round One of the Sandown Park SuperChamps, this elusive driver has caused quite a stir among spectators, drivers and the Daytona team.

George Lawlor

Age: 20
Location: Chichester, West Sussex

Lawlor took up indoor karting in 2019, then soon after moved to Club 100 where he participated in their sprint championship since 2021, finding himself on ten podiums along the way. He's also had experience racing ProKarts, senior Rotax and KZ.

James King

Age: 37
Location: Milton Keynes

In 2022 King began to enter sprint races at his home track Daytona Milton Keynes. Midway through his first year he set up the "KBR" endurance karting team. He's since gone on to win a SuperChamps title and won the Autumn Daytona 24 Hours in October 2024. After many championship and endurance wins, King's next challenge is to become SuperChamps champion at all three Daytona Venues.

Jamie Tiley-Gooden

Age: 16
Location: Milton Keynes

As one of the most exciting and anticipated drivers in Daytona's stable, Tiley-Gooden is a firm favorite in this series. A 6x Daytona Champion across SuperChamps, Endurance and Thursday Night League. Not to mention the 2024 Club 100 Junior Super Lightweight Champion and Experience Champion. The future looks bright for Tiley-Gooden but this hotly contested championship will really test his mettle.

Jamie Warner

Age: 14
Location: Billingshurst

Nine years and 112 podiums later, it would be an understatement to say Warner knows his way around the Daytona circuits. With 2023 Sprint League and Junior InKart Titles as well as podiums in the British Indoor Karting Championships this young racer should not be underestimated. This is not surprising given Warner's father was a British Junior Champion himself.

Joe Hamblett

Age: 25
Location: West Midlands

With podium positions at the Daytona 24 hour and Tamworth InKart Championships, Hamblett still seems to consider himself an underdog in this series. However, victories at the Daytona Tamworth 3 hour and 2x Club 100 Endurance races highlight that he is no back of the pack driver. 17 years experience and lap time alongside Rubens Barrichello should come in handy come race day.

Joe Milburn

Age: 17
Location: Norwich

Milburn’s passion for motor racing has driven him from the start. He began his karting journey in 2018, honing his skills under the guidance of British karting champion Jack Tritton. Competing in both Sprint and Iron Leagues, he has also taken on the challenge of endurance racing at Daytona Milton Keynes, constantly pushing his limits on the track. Milburn's also had the pleasure of attending both Formula 1 and the Le Mans 24hr race.

Jonah Norris

Age: 15
Location: South East London

Currently the youngest participant in the lineup, Norris is gearing up for his debut karting championship. This season marks his first-ever championship, and he’s taking on the challenge head-on. It will also be his first time racing at Daytona Tamworth and Milton Keynes, where he'll be pushing the limits and proving himself on new tracks.

Justin Elliott

Age: 45
Location: Lincolnshire

Justin Elliott is one to watch - he's been crowned SuperChamps champion at two out of our three circuits. A relative latecomer to competitive racing, he spent nearly a decade serving his country and did three tours of duty in Iraq. He's also a blackbelt in multiple martial arts.

Kieran Hyde-Moody

Age: 19
Location: London

Kieran Hyde-Moody races under the Zambian flag and is endorsed by the Zambia Motorsport Association. He races rally and motocross as well as karts, and he'll be representing Zambia at the 2026 FIA Motorsport Games. Hyde-Moody is a Club100 podium sitter and has finished third place at Daytona Sandown Park's SuperChamps.

Martin Bourke

Age: 42
Location: Greater London

As a child Bourke honed his driving skills on a ride-on lawn mowers at his parent's farm in Australia. He typifies his style around this, taking unorthodox lines with mixed results and the odd unsolicited bits of green-keeping work. He is a experienced driver with three seasons of DMAX Champs Enduros under his belt and a self confessed midfield contender who we can't wait to see mixing up the pack.

Matt Ellis

Age: 34
Location: Coventry

Matt Ellis races under the iconic red and white flag of Maple Motorsport, with whom he's won six 3-hour endurance races at Daytona Tamworth. He's also the reigning DMAX Heayvweight SuperChamps champion, and has raced at Club 100.

Nikolay Angelov

Category: Endurance Lights

Age: 47
Location: Richmond, Surrey

Angelov has a highly respected racing CV and has been competing at Daytona tracks since 2012. Despite podiums at Winter Championships, Autumn Enduros and Club 100 Championships, Angelov is yet to take home a win. A solid driver and endurance specialist - this Bulgarian rally enthusiast is one to watch.

Olly Cooper-Welton

Age: 50
Location: Woking, Surrey

Cooper-Welton’s racing career began in Formula TKM Juniors, progressing to seniors before expanding into Prokart endurance racing in Paul Bowler’s 6hr Enduro Series and Ted Poole’s EKC UK Series. His expertise in the sport led him to become Sandown Park’s Kart Circuit Manager and ARKS Instructor (1997-2000).

A former Formula Renault driver for Manor and Falcon and Formula Ford driver for Martin Donnelly, Cooper-Welton brings a wealth of experience to every race.

Sam Hampshire

Age: 24
Location: Guilford, Surrey

Hampshire's first season of racing was the 2012 InKart championship at Daytona Sandown Park. He raced in the Cadets 2012/13, Juniors 2013/14, then Junior RT8's in 2015/16. He then stepped up into the DMAX karts racing in a combination of endurances and heats. He's a 5x BUKC race winner, 2x Daytona 24 Hours runner-up and came sixth in the Endurance Lights category in the original series in 2018.

Seb Cook

Age: 40
Location: Milton Keynes

With decades of racing experience, Cook is no stranger to the DMAX Championship series. His style is underpinned by determination and speed - qualities which have been instrumental in previous Endurance Championships. Cook's adaptability across tracks should prove useful across this series, while his fierce competitive streak will keep spectators on the edge of their seats.

Sonny Elton

Age: 20
Location: Hampshire

Elton, who shares a birthday with Max Verstappen, started Karting at eight in Cadets. He has gone onto take podiums across DMAX Inkart Championships and British Indoor Karting Championships. After a break from racing, this will be Elton's return to Championship driving and an exciting test of his skills behind the wheel.

Thomas Williams

Location: Windsor & Eton

After watching the controversial Abu Dhabi Finale in 2021 William's interest in Motorsport peaked and a love for racing was ignited. After graduating from indoor racing to DMAX in 2023 Williams quickly gained traction in the Karting scene, earning podiums at multiple Sandown Park Championships and Endurance Races. AKA 'Womble', Thomas has amassed over 3.5 million views on TikTok, captivating audiences with gritty racing content.
