Our driver of the month for February 2025 is the up-and-coming Jamie Chadwick Series superstar - Zoe Cattet!
After winning the first two rounds of the Jamie Chadwick Series, SODI Lightweight driver Zoe Cattet is looking like a rising star in kart racing. Following some impressive results in last season’s Junior InKart championships, Zoe has been working on her race craft with our tutors and her hard work is paying off. After back-to-back wins in the first two rounds of the Jamie Chadwick Series she is in contention to take the series by storm. We caught up with her this week to get an insight into what is driving this raw talent towards the podium.
Zoe attributes her love of motorsport to her parents, her dad fostered an early interest in all things racing in her from an early age, following it together from the age of three. While her mum was the initial inspiration for her to begin karting, encouraging her to begin in April of last year. It’s clear that family and friends have been a huge support for Zoe’s success behind the wheel, but it was Bianca Bustamante who has provided that extra touch of inspiration, showing Zoe that women can be racers.
This is key to the Jamie Chadwick Series, highlighting to young women at a grassroots level that motorsport is for everyone. Zoe is the epitome of this, saying her proudest racing moment so far has been the first round victory of the JCS on her hometown track of Daytona Sandown Park.
She seems focused and ready for the upcoming races, attributing her success to hard work on the track. With a view to the future, Zoe is looking to battle it out for the rest of the season to take home pole position for the series. After which she hopes to continue winning races and championships with aspirations of the F1 Academy.
The sky's the limit for Zoe and we wish her all the best as she goes into the next stages of the series and beyond. Congrats Zoe!
