This date marks a historic first for Daytona Motorsport as we host our elite-tier racers in a spectacle of unparalleled prestige – the inaugural Daytona Race of Champions.
Honouring Excellence
For the first time in our 35-year history, we're extending an exclusive invitation to the crème-de-la-crème of our Championships in 2023. Those who have graced the final podium in the SuperChamps, Thursday Night League, Junior Sprint League, and InKart Championships this year are summoned to vie for glory in this one-off all-day event. Only one person in each class can earn the title - the 2023 Daytona Champion.
Prepare for a day filled with world-class racing action as we feature competition in the Junior, SODI, and DMAX classes. The circuit will echo with the thunderous sounds of engines, as competitors engage in practices, three heats, and an epic final showdown in each class. The stakes are high, the competition fierce, and only the most skilled will emerge victorious.
In the Junior class, racers will compete in the 45mph Biz Evo 3 Karts on the 900m National Layout. In the SODIs and DMAXs, there will be two track layouts to contend with throughout the day to keep the racing as challenging as possible.
To elevate the guest experience, the event will be graced by live commentary from the legendary duo of Jake Sanson and Yousef Bin-Suhayl, who will keep guests informed on every twist and turn throughout the day. Our team of professional videographers and photographers will capture the essence of this grand occasion, ensuring the competition is immortalised on Daytona’s media channels.
At the heart of the competition lies the ultimate prize – the title of 2023 Daytona Champion. Each class winner will be celebrated and awarded a special bespoke prize, solidifying their status as the best-of-the-best.
Competing in the Daytona Race of Champions is an invite-only affair, reserved for the winners and runners-up of our championships. Only those who have graced the podium at the end of the season, endurance race champions, and a select few wildcard entries will have the honour of participating in this exclusive event.
