Daytona Milton Keynes is honoured to announce its latest accolade as Milton Keynes’ Top Attraction, awarded at the esteemed Milton Keynes Food & Leisure Awards. This recognition celebrates the venue’s role as a premier entertainment destination, blending world-class motorsport with a dynamic, community-focused experience for all ages. Daytona's management team—Anthony Osborn, James Parrott, William Stephenson, and Luke Tapp—accepted the award on Sunday evening, marking a high point in the venue’s decades-long legacy.
Founded in 1990 and originally designed by Formula One legend James Hunt, Daytona Milton Keynes has grown into an iconic British kart racing destination. The site boasts a 1.3km International Circuit, a junior 400m North Circuit, and a full-service restaurant, bar, and café featuring the renowned Daytona Smash Burgers. In addition to motorsport, Daytona Milton Keynes offers top-notch conference facilities, positioning itself as a multi-faceted venue for both thrill-seekers and corporate gatherings.
In recent years, Daytona Milton Keynes has hosted a number of notable visitors, including F1 stars Yuki Tsunoda and Alex Albon, as well as boxing champion Anthony Joshua. Daytona’s racing opportunities span all ages, with junior programs designed for drivers as young as six. Daytona's Race School, held during school holidays, has become a springboard for young talent, introducing many to the world of professional racing. For young people looking to enter competitive motorsport, the InKart Junior Championships has launched the careers of numerous professional drivers.
Adult racing programs also flourish at Daytona, with events like the Thursday Night League for ages 14+ offering a more relaxed entry into competitive racing. The elite SuperChamps series brings together top adult drivers in a high-stakes championship. Daytona Milton Keynes is also a community-minded venue, frequently hosting charity events, including the recent Race for Ukraine, which raised substantial funds for humanitarian support.
“We’re incredibly grateful to receive this award, which is a testament to our team’s hard work and the community’s enthusiasm for Daytona,” said Anthony Osborn, General Manager of the venue. “We take pride in offering an unmatched motorsport experience and a welcoming environment for both casual visitors and passionate racers.”
This latest recognition adds to Daytona’s recent honors, with Daytona Sandown Park in Surrey also taking home Best Family Attraction at the Surrey Rocks Awards earlier this year.
