The Daytona 24 Hours 2017 has sold out within two days of the public launch. The race will feature 24 DMAX entries and 18 Sodi RT8 karts and will be held at Daytona Milton Keynes over 29th /30th April 2017.
Teams of up to 12 drivers will join us on the grid for “The Race of the Year”. The race weekend is the May Bank Holiday weekend so drivers will enjoy the extra day off to recover from 24 hours of racing!
Daytona will provide teams with everything required to race: A race-prepared kart, race-suits, helmets and gloves, two hours practice, qualifying and space to pitch a tent or park your motorhome.
DMAX Class karts will run to a minimum weight limit for kart and driver of 204Kgs. DMAX karts weigh 119Kgs so drivers must ballast up to 85Kgs minimum weight. The race is a Sodi World Series Endurance Race and SodiKart class entries will run without a minimum weight limit.
The race is strictly limited to 42 entries but we will operate a reserve list in case any existing entries are not able to race next April. Interested teams are advised to get on the reserve list early by calling Mark Wimblett on 033 033 278 70 (option 9) to make sure they don’t miss out.
A DMAX Class entry costs just £2295 inc VAT and Sodi Class Entries cost just £1595 inc VAT.
