London and District beat thirty-three other teams from the property industry in the 18th running of the Property Prokart Challenge, in association with Estates Gazette at Daytona Milton Keynes on Friday (25th Sept).

After 8 hours gruelling racing on the busy circuit, event sponsors London and District won by 6 laps from Knight Frank and Livermores, with co-sponsors Cowell Motorsport finishing in fourth.

The event started on Thursday evening with two hours of practice on the 1160metre circuit at Daytona Milton Keynes, followed by curry and drinks at the Holiday Inn. On Friday morning, the drivers returned to the circuit for breakfast followed by qualifying and then the main race.

As well as beating the rest of the field to complete the most laps in 8 hours, the teams also had to compete in the F1 Pit Stop Challenge – changing all four wheels on the F1 car against the clock – whilst their race kart sat idling in the Pitlane. London and District proved the class of the field – winning the F1 Pit Stop Challenge as well as the race!

Drivers who found the race distance a challenge were able to enjoy a restorative massage from the EasyProperty.com massage girls – in return for a small donation to Variety – the event′s nominated charity.
